Needle selection

The same applies to elastic fabrics. We can choose No. 14 machine needles for sewing elastic fabrics. Of course, if you want to sew more brilliantly, you can choose gold needles, also known as round needles or anti-jump machine needles, which can effectively prevent jumpers.

However, if you encounter special elastic fabrics such as rubber bands and elastic bands, you can choose No. 05 elastic zigzag stitches. Stitch length and width selection
Stitch length and width are particularly important for sewing elastic fabrics. For this special fabric, we must increase the stitch length, which can effectively prevent fabric wrinkles.
The editor tried the sewing effect when the stitch length is 2.0 and 3.5. Obviously, when the length is 2.0, the fabric can be seen wrinkled and uneven; when the length is 3.5, it is flat and smooth!
Therefore, when we are sewing elastic fabric, it is recommended to adjust the stitch length to 3.5.
operation technique
